Description
Extensions of the Standard Model in which the Higgs particle is a composite state of a new strong interaction can be studied using lattice gauge theory techniques. I will describe lattice work in the context of the Composite Higgs paradigm, where the Higgs is a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson arising from flavor symmetry breaking in the new strong sector, and the top is partially composite thanks to a linear mixing with baryons of the new strong sector.
