Strong dynamics beyond the hierarchy problem

Description
I will discuss several aspects of "vector-like confinement" as a plausible extension of the Standard Model relevant for dark matter and collider physics. The SM is extended by fermions in a real representation of the SM and charged under a new confining gauge interaction. The strong dynamics does not break electro-weak symmetry but has interesting phenomenology that can be studied at the LHC and provides automatic dark matter candidates due to the accidental symmetries of the theory. In the last part of the talk I will discuss a possible connection with the generation of the electro-weak scale within the relaxion framework.
