Beyond Positivity Constraints on EFTs and Massive Gravity

Description
Based on the fundamental properties of the scattering matrix (unitarity, Poincaré invariance and analyticity), dispersion relations provide valuable information on effective field theories (EFTs). In this talk I will show how these theoretical constraints, when applied to ghost-free massive gravity, can be used to bound the graviton mass as a function of the cutoff of the EFT. The phenomenological consequences of this new result will also be discussed.
