Description

In this talk, I will present the methodology employed to complete a state-of-the-art evaluation of the hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon g-2. To this end, I will introduce the time-momentum representation and explain how it can be leveraged to obtain estimates of these observables through lattice QCD. I will present the concept of time-kernels and describe how the data for two-point correlation functions in Euclidean coordinate space are obtained and utilized, including their limitations and constraints. I will conclude by presenting the final results of my PhD thesis: a 0.6% determination of the NLO HVP contribution.
