Description
In this seminar we first motivate the relevance of the search for H+/- -> tau nu. We then present the main characteristics of the ATLAS search for H+-> tau nu in the tau+jets final state. We describe the data-driven background estimations. This search for H+ relies crucially on a precise understanding of the tau+MET trigger. We present the general ideas of the trigger efficiency determination, which has been integrally performed in IFAE.
