Description
Renormalons are factorial divergences arising in perturbative series due to small and large momenta in loop integrals of Feynman diagrams. When perturbative computations at large order are unavailable, the position of renormalons in the Borel plane can be analyzed through the large N limit and the operator product expansion, which has been the standard lore in the past decades. In this talk, I will explain how one can extract the position of renormalons from the Bethe ansatz equations of integrable quantum field theories, and I will disuss the disagreements one finds between Bethe ansatz results and the renormalon prediction of the operator product expansion.
