Description
This summer the Dark Energy Survey (DES) has published a bunch of papers containing the first weak gravitational lensing results using the DES Science Verification data set, and including the first cosmological results from DES. In the talk I will present a brief, hopefully pedagogical, introduction to weak lensing, and will discuss some of these results.
