Description
GAMMA-400 is a new space mission, designed as a dual experiment, capable of detecting both gamma rays and cosmic rays (electrons + positrons, protons and heavier nuclei). Thanks to this multi-messenger approach, GAMMA-400 will be able to address some of the most compelling scientific topics, such as the search for dark matter signatures and the study of cosmic-ray origins and propagation. The geometry of the detectors, as well as the most up-to-date results on simulation studies and performance, will be presented.
