Is it possible to constrain nature by imposing very simple consistency conditions? In this Pizza Seminar I will present the “bottom-up” perspective of modern theoretical physics using accessible examples. We will introduce and explore the realm of Effective Field Theories, understanding how elementary yet fundamental principles can confine the space of allowed theories yielding intriguing insights into physics. The seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of Bootstrap methods in theoretical physics!
