Description

Since the first detection in 2015, the field of gravitational wave astronomy has boomed with each run achieving more than last.   However,  it is still challenging to explain why the LVK black holes are more massive than expected and how they formed. In this talk, I will discuss detecting eccentric binaries and gravitational lensing in O4 and O5 without building a targeted template bank.  I will also present a new technique for identifying and removing short glitches that ruin our ability to detect high-mass events.
