Domain walls in the early universe

I will overview the basics of Domain Walls (DWs): "soap film"-like objects that appear in several well-motivated extensions of the Standard Model. DWs have a strong impact on cosmology, leading to many observable signatures: a gravitational wave background, primordial black holes and other relics. A proper calculation of these signals is, however, a quite challenging problem. I will illustrate this with a sample of recent results.
