Description
IFAE is really involved in the development of Large Size Telescope (LST) for the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA). The mechanical department has been designing, manufacturing, assembling & testing the CTA LST bogies. These bogies are the moving mechanism of the Azimuth system and have to withstand all the telescope loads. I would like to introduce you the CTA LST bogies from a friendly engineering point of view.
