Recent Observational Results from LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA

The results and data from the first part of LIGO, Virgo, and KAGRA's most recent O4a observing run have recently been released. I'll review what we've learned from a few hundred detections of black holes, and also cover a few special events that warranted their own separate papers. I'll also give a quick review of the current status of the instruments and what we can expect next.
