Description
The Standard Model of particle physics is complete since 2012, when the Higgs boson was discovered, but it's not a final theory. Many questions still wait for answers and the ATLAS experiment is pursuing many searches for so-called "new physics". I will present briefly two analyses performed by IFAE looking for new heavy quarks similar to the top quark.
