As part of his Platform Dalí residency at the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE), artist and researcher George Mahashe will present the central questions guiding his two-month research stay at the institute. Drawing from his work at the intersection of photography, anthropology, archives and Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Mahashe explores how different cultures and disciplines construct images of reality — from dreamscapes and divination practices to scientific imaging in high-energy physics, astrophysics, cosmology and quantum computing.
