DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Alexander Zhiboedov (CERN)\n\nEnergy correlators are
infrared-safe collider observables that characterize the flow of energy i
n scattering events. Originally developed in the context of QCD\, they adm
it a natural operator definition as multi-point correlation functions of t
he energy flux operator\, and provide a common language for collider physi
cs\, CFTs\, and gravity. I will discuss nonperturbative properties of thes
e observables and methods for constraining them beyond standard perturbati
on theory. These methods are particularly powerful in conformal field theo
ries\, where modern conformal bootstrap techniques apply. In this talk\, I
will focus on the energy-energy correlator (EEC) in N=4 SYM\, where a com
bination of dispersion relations\, integrability\, and supersymmetric loca
lization leads to tight two-sided bounds on the EEC at finite coupling and
finite rank of the gauge group.\n\nhttps://indico.ifae.es/event/2599/
