Description
The galaxy bias is the relationship between the spatial distribution of galaxies and that of the underlying dark matter density field. Studying how the galaxy distribution, which is the one we can observe, is biased with respect to the dark matter distribution is essential to extract cosmological information from large scale galaxy surveys such as the Dark Energy Survey. In this talk, we present a measurement of the galaxy bias obtained with weak gravitational lensing using data from the Dark Energy Survey, and compare it to previous results that use different methods.
