Merve Çolak - The fastest spinning, the most magnetic and compact objects directly observed in the universe: Pulsars

Description
Although pulsars do not have the popularity they deserve in our daily life, they are one of the most important laboratories in the universe. What are pulsars, what are their properties, and how do they evolve? What is the importance of pulsars for astrophysics, quantum physics, electromagnetism, particle physics, and even for space travel? We will try to find the answers to all these questions by travelling to the heart of the universe, where there is created, as Carl Sagan would say, the star-stuff we are all made of.
