Description
Cosmic evolution can be characterized by periods of supercooling, in which the Universe rapidly becomes cold and empty. This is a common phenomenon in theories where the Higgs boson is like the pion of a "new" QCD. I show how the transition to the warm and dense Universe that we observe can be explained by "old" QCD physics.
