After a brief presentation of the recently published APPEC roadmap of Astroparticle Physics, I will present the present situation of the research of Gravitational Waves in Europe, in the context of EGO/Virgo and beyond , namely the preparation of the 3rd generation instruments on ground and in particular the recently founded Einstein Telescope collaboration.
