Many problems considered as unsolvable in today's computers could be solved in a universal fault-tolerant quantum computer. Optimization algorithms are one of the main areas in which a quantum computer could have an enormous effect, in addition to quantum chemistry or criptography. Among all the different quantum processors, superconducting circuits (SC) are one of the leading platforms. In this talk, I will give a description on how we coherently control a SC qubit in our lab.
