Notes on Parallel Sessions Discussion

Industrial Returns

 

• report on options for implementing a balanced return policy in ET (mainly: WP1,WP2, WP3, ...)
  • this is topic that will attract fro sure the attention of  a few other WPs, so I think the discussion can take ~ 30 minutes
     
• experience and proposal for industry engagement in ET-PP (mainly: WP1-WP5-WP6-WP8-WP9, ...)
  • here we will present what we have done so far, the difficulties encountered, possible proposals for the remaining part of ET-PP
  • it's important for us to get the feedback from especially WP6 on the best way to proceed, I guess the discussion may need 20 minutes
     
• TT policy and proposal for implementation of TT services in the future ETO, including required resources (mainly: WP1-WP2-WP3-WP6, ..., ETO)
  • we need to collect the preliminary feedback, and I think this can be done in 10-15 minutes
     
• proposed approach to provide TT services for R&D activities being carried out during the execution of the ET-PP project (mainly: WP1-WP6, ..., ETO)
  • we should illustrate with a few slides our proposal and collect the feedback; 10 minutes should be enough
     
• presence at the ET-PP booth at BSBF  (WP1, WP5-6-8-9-10,...)
  • we should discuss the presence of ET experts at the BSBF booth;  5 minutes

 

ET Governance, Legal Entity, Financial Model

ESFRI Life cycle approach with regard to the development of the financial- and legal framework.

• What are the options for the development of a financial model in the various phases of the lifecycle?
• Best practices and lessons learned for the financial model from recent examples, ESS, SKA and the hybrid model ESRF.
• In which areas would the choices in the financial model relate to the development of the governance structure? **

- the Milestone M4.2, about the Common Methodology. We prepared a first draft and we may have a look at it 

 

- Organization of the work for the Deliverable 4.3 "Complete quantification of all aspects impacting ET performance for both sites” and possible modification to the SPB mandate
