Depending on their citizenship, participants will need a visitor visa to visit Spain. Please check well in advance whether you will need a visa or not. You can find information at the following link
Invitation letters to assist in visa formalities will be sent by the conference organization to people who request it in order to help you in obtaining the visa. It must be understood that such letters do not imply any financial support or hosting arrangement, nor a guarantee of a visa being issued.
Note of caution
Barcelona is a very touristic city and, as such, pickpockets are present. Please, be very cautious of your belongings when walking or travelling in the city.

► From the airport to Downtown Barcelona
The easiest way to go from the airport to BCN is to take the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya. The cost of the bus is about €6 per ride and can be purchased directly on the bus. Then you can use the dense public transportation network.
