On the night of the 14th January 2019, MAGIC detected its first gamma-ray burst (GRB) at TeV energies. GRBs are prime source of interest to perform Lorentz Invariance Violation (LIV) analysis. In this talk I will give a brief introduction to such analysis using gamma-ray data and, using the example of GRB 190114C, I will show how and to what extent the maximum likelihood method allow us to test the LIV scenario.
